2009 Election results

Ira D. Papel, M.D., of Baltimore, MD, has been elected as president of the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He fills the seat of Shan R. Baker, M.D., of Livonia, MI, who remains on the ABFPRS Executive Committee as immediate past president. Mark V. Connelly, M.D., of La Crosse, WI, has been elected as vice president. Also elected as secretary and treasurer, respectively, were, Lee E. Smith, M.D., of Princeton, WV, and Harrison C. Putman, III, M.D., of Peoria, IL. Elected to six-year terms as members of the ABFPRS Board of Directors were Minas S. Constantinides, M.D., of New York, NY, and David W. Stepnick, M.D., of Lyndhurst OH. David B. Hom, M.D., of Cincinnati, OH, Kriston J. Kent, M.D., of Naples, FL, Theda C. Kontis, M.D., of Baltimore, MD, and Devinder S. Mangat, M.D., of Cincinnati, OH, have been appointed to the ABFPRS Senior Advisory Council.
