A small number of very active committees keep ABFPRS programs functioning at top levels and provide diplomates with opportunities to move into leadership positions.

These committees are as follows:

• Audit Committee
• Bylaws and Publications Committee
• Credentials Committee
• Examination Committee
• Graduate Medical Education Committee
• Resource Development Committee

The Resource Development Committee has the greatest number of opportunities for involvement—and one of the most important charges of all committees: to develop new material for the annual examination.
